Founder's Statement

“The time has come to put aside the notion of gaming as a subculture. Gamers are everywhere, in every strata of society. We are businessmen, educators, engineers. We wear white collars, blue collars, and no collars. We love music, the arts, and having fun with family & friends. We, too, care about our kids, their education, their future. We are just as invested as everyone else in our families, our community, our city. We live here too. So when we say “game it up”, we are really talking about winning…about living a full life. And if you can win with a controller, you can win without a controller. As it is with the game…so it is with life.”
